My approach to Counselling...
I work integratively which means I have been trained in different theories so I can adapt to client needs, preferences, and personalities.
The foundation of my training is in person-centred therapy which is an approach that is all about you - your story, your pace, and your goals. It’s a gentle and supportive approach that is based on the idea that you already have the tools inside you to grow, heal, and find your way forward. Sometimes, you just need the right space and the right support to tap into that.
In person-centred therapy, I won’t tell you what to do or try to "fix" things for you. Instead, I’ll listen closely, without judgement, and offer a safe, respectful space where you can explore what’s going on.
