What will counselling be like
& how many sessions will I need?
There is no right or wrong way to show up for counselling. In my own personal experience I have had sessions where I have cried, swore, made jokes and laughed outrageously loudly. Other sessions I have said almost nothing.
Counselling isn’t only for the tough stuff, it can also be a place of celebration of achievements, hopes and dreams for the future, and pretty much anything else that is on your mind and you want to talk about, I am here to listen.
I will check in with you regularly on how you are finding the sessions and, at any time, please feel free to provide feedback so I can ensure your preferences and needs are being met.
There is absolutely no obligation on the number of sessions you have, everyone is different, you can have as little or as many as you feel you need.
